I did some organization and preparation, and Brad came over Sunday evening.

We removed exhaust, cables, and it is

ready to lift the body.

I have done research on lifting the car off the front subframe, and on electrics.

to install new tumbler:

1. rotate decorative chrome nut on dash to free switch

2. remove switch from back of dash

3. depress pin and remove tumbler, using key to pull

4-6 installation of new tumbler is the reverse

Prepped in the shop for trans work, and restored an old toolbox:

Plan to work Sunday 27 Jan.

On the 20th, Ed Mayer came over, and we detached the suspension bolts, the steering rack and prepared to lift the body off.

Brad, Chuck, and Ed arrived. We decided, that because of the shifting problem, we must pull the unit, lifting the frame.
