Ed Mayer over

Progress!

I got some new tools, and am almost ready for spraying!

Got a few new of each

Ed Mayer came over, and showed me how to use my new abrasives.

Today, I got some new materials and tools, and prepped several misc components: bracket under hoses; and hood brackets.

I continue the slow process of scraping, etc

History: a bit of the original Farina Grey

I ground more old paint from under the bonnet.

And painted the  the front interior floor.

(N.B.: This is under carpet, and painted for protection, not style, with POR 15.)

Ed Mayer came over, and he show me how to better use the wire brush, and what to sand, etc.

I cleaned paint off of the firewall and the front floor.  (I also did a load of rag laundry.)

I bought some needed bits, and ordered some from a supplier.

Rinsed off the car, and organized in the garage, getting ready for the final push.

I started by enlarging the garage by taking apart the engine stand.

Then I painted an exhaust hanger, and touched up the subframe and suspension.

Then I got ready for the final push, organizing things on the card table.
