On Sat 14 Sept, my wife Sharon received a phone call from an old high school friend telling her that the house she lived in from 1954 thru 1960 was open on a home tour. As Sharon had earlier suggested that we take Mini for a ride, we drove in same west out US6 to Vermilion OH, where Sharon had lived, where Sharon and I had lived, where our son Allen had first come home, and where I first worked on Mini.
We stopped at Chez Francois to pick up tickets for the tour http://www.chezfrancois.com/
And then over to the first house, where Sharon had lived from 1954-60
Mini waited on the road side.
We stopped at another house in the same area
Then we went to QSL _ Quaker Stake and Lube on the Vermilion River http://www.quakersteakandlube.com/vermilion_oh/
Where we ate, and Mini guarded the lot
Our next stop was at the Lagoons http://www.city-data.com/neighborhood/Vermilion-Lagoons-Vermilion-OH.html
Where we saw another home.
Mini waited. That home was fabulous inside and out!
