I took Mini out for a nice run, then re adjusted the brakes and gave her a bit of a sponge bath.

We had a ballroom dancing lesson with Julie, and we drove both Rhoda (2015 MINI Cooper S) and Mini.

I then drove to the show in Bay Village: a great collection of cars, and several loco brits showed, as well as George Zeck and his wife!

Our Yoga teacher Katie was there with her boys and one of their friends – see above.

Mini got lots of nice attention.

Drove home – ran well and brakes are better.

Today I took Mini up to a petrol filling station and topped up the tank.

I adjusted the brakes, and then Sharon, Babe (our rescue dog) and I went for a little cruise!  (She liked getting in.)

Brad came over, and we drove to LocoBrits and back with no issues: much less oil under the car.  The meeting was great!

 

On the 14th, Paul Sedar came over, and we did a few upgrades:

Adding the cord hangers in studs.

I took Mini out for a cruise, and all seems well.  Is leak fixed?  Reduced at worst.

On the 17th, we entertained Jen and Katie – our yoga teachers – and I let her sons sit in the car.

Rhoda had a spa day.

This month I have been working with our contractor Paul Sedar on giving our garage its first make-over in 50 years…

In a series which started as a kitchen renovation a few years ago, we have now done the kitchen, the livingroom, all three bedrooms, the master bath, the half bath, the family room, the dining room, the family room, added a sun room with a deck, the utility room and rec rooms in the basement, and now the garage…

This also marks a milestone from our water in the basement on 23 June 2015, which had impacted the garage as well…

 

Our super decorator Patti recommended the gallery wall, and a denim like color; our super contractor Paul chose the ceiling and floor paint: beyond my furtherest dreams..

The cycle is complete, although a new side door is coming.

I also made progress in the utility shed and garage!

The framer arrives:

 

A good day!  Floor tuesday, and then back together on Friday.

We are redoing the garage: new paint on ceiling, walls, and floor, and a gallery wall on the South side.

 

First new paint in 50 years!
